Nestled in the heart of Upstate New York, I began writing songs at the age of 15 when I learned how to play the guitar. I spent years playing the drums but I wanted more out of music. My Mom and Dad taught me a few chords and I was off and running.
After graduating from high school I started a band called 11th hour. We toured much of the New England area for about five years. That experience was probably one of the greatest in my life. Being gone for shows every weekend, hanging out with the best guys I’d ever known, and most of all, touching the lives of so many teens and adults.
I struck out on my own as a solo artist in 2005 and released my first recording “Vagabond’s Riches EP.” It was the start of something new.
Since 2006 I’ve written several songs. Some finished, others with just one verse. But here I am again in 2017 writing new songs and trying to find my sound and voice. I put down the guitar for a few years for many reasons. At one point I even hated my guitar.
Now, my guitar is in my hands penning new words and melodies.
I’m looking forward to releasing a full-length album in 2018. It was supposed to be in 2017 but I had a lot of self-doubts. I’m ready to share my story with the world. For anyone who wants to hear – welcome to the journey.
